THE SALON
Grace’s Grooms is a home-based pet salon. I work strictly 1-1 with your pet, and only allow more than one pet if from the same family or household.
NATURAL PRODUCTS
We are passionate about natural ingredients for our pets, and proud to use a range of carefully selected professional grooming products in the salon, for your dog.
QUALIFICATIONS
It may surprise you that the dog grooming industry is unregulated so you do not require a formal qualification to work. At Grace’s Grooms, I am proud to declare that I hold a CITY & GUILDS Level 2 Certificate & Level 3 Diploma as a Professional Dog Stylist. I have also participated in countless seminars and webinars, to offer an always improving standard of styling aswell as develop my understanding of all things dogs, behaviour, nutrition, skincare, and grooming.
SAFETY FIRST
I have participated in a CANINE FIRST AID course, to be able to offer immediate first aid to your pet if required. We do work with sharp tools and live animals, so there is always a possibility for accidents to happen no matter how careful we endeavour to be. In the event that your pet requires medical attention during their visit, you will be advised to collect your dog immediately and seek veterinary attention.
WE’RE INSURED
Grace’s Grooms is covered with industry appropriate business insurance since 2018.
BOOKING APPOINTMENTS
At this time appointment requests should be made by text or Whatsapp preferably on 07957580803. We also accept Facebook messages, or email at gracesgrooms@gmail.com. There is only one me, myself and I, doing it all so please be patient. Online booking software may be re-introduced again in time.
CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS
Grace’s Grooms requires a minimum 24 hour notice to cancel your appointment. Please read & understand our cancellation policy here before your visit.
PRICES
Cost of services can only ever be estimated until full assessment of your dog at each visit. Various factors can change the grooming fee, such as time between appointments, coat condition and behaviour or additional needs.
